These are a fun way to display your favorite poem and words from the heart. Place on a shelf, coffee table or in a basket. Meant to be touched and remind you of the one you love.
All blocks are constructed from wood and collaged with handmade papers. To purchase please select size of block or blocks and poem from the poetry section. I will then select words to complete your block of Art.

Altered Luggage Series

I love to alter old vintage luggage. No two are alike. They range in sizes depending on what I find. Smaller pieces are usally a makeup or small overnite luggage. Larger pieces are full size luggage. Your choice of poem from the poetry section.

Please choose two colors for me to work with. Select your poem. Please note all papers are handmade. Papers are solid in color and some with a pattern. I will then add a piece of vintage paper and found object to complete your canvas.

Each Angel is handmade especially for you. Please note that I use vintage quilting patterns for her robe so no two are alike. Her face is of clay, kiln fired. Her halo, repurposed found metal, Her wings, vintage sheet music. Her bouquet a treasure of old jewlery, buttons, metal and found objects.

My cross series was my first design. It represents to me the blessing I have to create as my means of making a living. The composition of the cross remains in all new works. The use of vintage and quilting patterns make up the individual pieces. Again a theme in my work making each work a one-of-a-kind. In this work I have incorporated one of my poems, "You are not alone"
